One of the Nussentials products (called LESS!) is a weight loss supplement which I started about 4 weeks ago (July 10th). In that time I have lost 16 pounds! Needless to say, I have been very impressed, as has anyone else that has tried the product.
Since it’s a Vanilla flavored powder, I have found a couple of different ways to drink it, other than just adding it to milk or orange juice. I am including those recipes below. Berry LESS! Shake
You Need:
6 oz of Wyler’s Rasberry Ice drink
1 container Strawberry yogurt
1 banana (optional)
1 scoop LESS!
Put 5-7 cubes of ice in blender and pour mixed liquids over it, cover and blend on Crush Ice for 1 minute. Pour and enjoy.
LESS! Mocha Joe
You Need:
6-8 cups of coffee, freshly brewed
3 heaping scoops of LESS!
3 tablespoons of Swiss Mocha coffee mix
1 tablespoon of Choclolate Syrup
2 cups milk
Pour hot coffee, Swiss Mocha, LESS! and syrup in blender, cover and blend for 1 minute. Open small cover in lid and slowly pour in milk while still blending. Pour into clean 2 liter juice jug and refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Serve over ice.
Update: I just tried the recipe and used Hazelnut coffee mix instead of Mocha and love it!
Cantaloupe, Pineapple and Banana Cooler
You Need
1 scoop LESS! (or MORE!)
1/2 cup (120 mL) cantaloupe
1/2 cup (120 mL) pineapple, with juice, chilled
1/2 medium banana
1/8-inch (3 mm) slice lemon, with peel 1/2 cup (120 mL) cranberry juice
1 tablespoon honey or other sweetener, to taste
3/4 cup (180 mL) ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender in the order listed. Secure 2-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Run for 1 minute or until smooth. Serve immediately.
Banana Raisin Drink
You Need
1 scoop LESS! (or MORE!)
1 banana
1/4 cup (60 mL) raisins
1/4 cup (60 mL) skim milk
1/4 teaspoon honey or other sweetener, to taste
1 cup (240 mL) ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender in the order listed. Secure 2-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn on machine and quickly
Vanilla Cappuccino Frappe
You Need
1 scoop LESS! (or MORE!)
1 cup ice (about 5-7 cubes)
2/3 cup fat-free milk
1/3 cup brewed espresso (or other strong coffee – cold)
Place all ingredients in blender in the order listed. Secure 2-part lid. Cover and process for 1-2 minutes. You can also add the vanilla suger free flavor or the caramel. Serve immediately.
Vanilla Fizz
You Need
1 scoop LESS! (or MORE!)
1 cup ice (about 5-7 cubes)
1/2 cup diet soda (any flavor but cherry or chocolate work best)
1/4 cup fat-free milk
1/4 cup thawed frozen non dairy light whipped topping
Place all ingredients in blender in the order listed. Secure 2-part lid. Cover and process for 1-2 minutes. You can also add the sugar free raspberry syrup if you use raspberry soda. Serve immediately.
High Protein Shake
You Need
2 scoops MORE!
1/2 scoop LESS!
8 oz Soy milk
1 packet Carnation Instant Breakfast
Place all ingredients in blender and process for 1 minute. Serve immediately.
