In today’s world of spam filters, email phishing, spam blockers and assorted tools designed to limit your daily dose of unsolicited email, it’s harder and harder to stay in touch with people who actually want to hear from you.
A case in point is the Team Inifiniti “Ad Group”, a group of Nussentials rep’s that are pooling their advertising dollars to “buy” Google clicks and send visitors to our capture pages. This is a group of people that WANT to hear from me, yet despite this, several member’s can’t receive email’s from me because their ISP’s (Internet Service Providers) have decided that anything coming from my IP address, is spam.
What hogwash.
Welcome to the world of “shared IP’s”, an inexpensive way to have a domain and web page. The downside is if anyone on the “shared” list spam’s, all of us are penalized.
So, to help those that really do want to hear from me about Nussentials updates, Ad Group training calls, Web 2.0 training calls, branding yourself lessons and assorted “marketing” email’s I send, I am creating an autoresponder list.
